I'm seriously not sure what word should be used to describe the way my mouth felt and tongue wept at the taste of something on my plate.

Read on and you'll discover why I most definitely will return to a place to see if it was the chef or just how the establishment is trained to prepare a certain thing.

As part of a long overdue 'date night', my ladies and I, decided to get a decent meal, that we didn't cook ourselves, at a local hot spot called 'Fire & Vine'.

It's mostly wood fired pizza and a massive selection of wine. They also serve up multiple other dishes to satiate virtually any pallet out there including local beers and a great steak!

One of my ladies ordered a garlic, basil, tomato and spinach pizza. It smelled fantastic, not gonna lie. My other lady, ordered a plate of chicken tacos that also smelled pretty amazing. After the calamari and bruschetta appetizers though, I needed to save room for my meal and opted not to try any of their food but, they had no complaints.

You know I love a good steak. I'm also a big surf and turf fan so that is the first picture you see, a filet and scallops accompanied by some smashed potatoes and broccolini. Not sure what constitutes the term for the latter, just looked like broccoli to me. Overly large stems maybe? Or perhaps they were picked before full florets blossomed? Don't know.

What I do know, is my steak cooked blue, was absolutely delicious. The taters were well flavored too, with no over seasoning so I could actually taste potato.

But the scallops, oh my fucking gawd! Had I not been high off of their flavor, I would have had the presence of mind to get a better picture of them!

There has been no food that in a good year, that actually made my mouth feel like that. I literally relaxed in my chair, shoulders slumped and slowed down to chew these undeniably delectable divinities. That, is a mouthgasm.

So fukn good. The waitress, Jade, was a peach and really attentive thankfully, so this place, is easily worth the 50$ plates. If I had to give it a rating, definitely five stars, especially because of the company kept. So to all of you, REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, regardless how hard my tongue gets.
