Today, probably being the last Saturday of the month, has triggered the youths in my street to move out of their homes for general sanitation of our surroundings.
For me, today is often a busy day and a house full of uncountable chores, lol.
So before I could finish up cobbing the webs and mopping the floors, the general clean up activities had already ended and most individuals were going home.
Since I didn't join them to trim the grasses which was the major cleaning exercise they did along the street, I had to take on from where they stopped by engaging in picking up the non-biodegradable trash on the grasses like plastics and polythenes.
To me, that is my cleaning activity for the day and as well my part of the community general cleanup exercise.
The major things I picked were old sachet water wraps, biscuits and yogurt wraps. This could probably be from kids who enjoyed their snacks on their way back.
I backed up my cleaning activity for today with some photos of the trash on the floor and when they got into my picking bag.

Just like I often say, “No complete cleaning activity without proper disposal”. Just imagine after I already picked and packaged all the trash on the floor into my picking bag and I just dropped it back somewhere there on the floor, that actually means I did nothing because the waste is still not properly disposed of.
So with this little knowledge of a proper cleaning activity, I made my way down to the waste container and had the waste bag properly disposed of there.
Then I was satisfied that I had completed my cleaning activity for today and as well participated in my own session of the general cleanup exercise.
