Mi padre compró una gallina adulta para aumentar la producción de huevos para nuestro consumo familiar, la misma proviene de las granjas dedicadas a la explotación empresarial, y debo decir con pena, que allí, les cortan el pico para que no se coman los huevos, ya que imagino que el hacinamiento y estrés hacen que actúen erráticamente.
Como consumidores deberíamos exigir que las empresas que crían seres vivos utilicen prácticas compasivas en sus explotaciones empresariales, aunque cueste un poco más de dinero.
