Today was a very special day. We had to host the sale for my nephew's 7th grade class. They're raising funds for the graduation party, and I got to work early.
With great excitement, I took out the main ingredients: fresh eggs, sugar, flour... the basics for a good cake! I also took out the beaters from the mixer because I knew there would be a lot to whip up today. I felt like a professional baker.
After baking the cakes, I decorated them with melted chocolate and some with a touch of dulce de leche, which gave them that irresistible look. I made sure every piece was perfect because I wanted everyone to enjoy it and for everything to sell.
Finally, we carefully packaged everything in individual bags. Seeing them ready for sale was a source of pride. I can't describe how wonderful it feels to contribute something to my group and see all the hard work reflected in something so sweet.
Hoy fue un día muy especial. Nos tocó hacer la venta del grado 7 que cursa mí sobrino , están recaudando fondos para la fiesta dé egresados de fin de año,y desde temprano me puse manos a la obra.
Con mucha emoción saqué los ingredientes principales: huevos frescos, azúcar, harina... ¡lo básico para un buen bizcocho! Saqué también las aspas de la batidora porque sabía que hoy habría mucho que batir. Me sentía como una repostera profesional.
Después de hornear los pasteles, los decoré con chocolate derretido y algunos con un toque de dulce de leche que les dio ese aspecto irresistible. Me aseguré de que cada pieza quedara perfecta, porque quería que todos disfrutaran y se vendiera todo.
Finalmente, empacamos todo cuidadosamente en bolsitas individuales. Verlas listas para la venta fue un orgullo total. ¡No puedo describir lo bonito que se siente aportar algo para mi grupo y ver todo el esfuerzo reflejado en algo tan dulce.
