I laughed when I saw your title because I know how difficult it is for some elders to apologize.

OUCH! What did you eat that morning ? Guess the insults were really much, it's good you spoke up and still had control over your anger.

Some people who are calm and gentle, peaceful, acknowledge their mistakes and apologize genuinely are not actually weak and their rights can't be easily trampled upon but others fail to recognize that and think they can tamper with their emotions.

Everyone needs to be respected, young and old irrespective of position or achievement in life.
