The steaming coffee at my breakfast
Usually, at home we have the traditional arepa for breakfast. And a cup of black coffee. Mine unsweetened. What a coincidence, both are consumed hot. So one of these mornings I wanted to take some pictures of breakfast, but it turned into a photo shoot.
It's a beauty to see the hot coffee raise the mesmerizing smoke, if you can call it that. is it steam? What's more, can the aroma be visible? Because not only our sensory nerves perceive the heat, our nose perceives the smell of this beverage. Have you been watching the shapes the coffee smoke makes in the air? I don't judge you, it's happened to me too, and that morning I didn't stop shooting my camera for that reason.
Although I took a few more, I decided to post just these. Yes, I know that as a first impression it may be a bit boring because of similar framing, but my intention is not to show you my breakfast, it is to show you what emerges from the coffee in the cup, be it smoke, steam, or whatever, the shapes it acquires, how it moves to begin to seduce your taste buds, how it changes shape to warn you that, although it is ready for consumption, you should be careful when handling it.
They say that no two sunsets are exactly alike. That the clouds will never be arranged in the same way any other day. Can the same be said of our cup of coffee? Will we ever see the exact same silhouette in the air again, with that height, that shape, that thickness and speed? If not possible, then these photos deserve to be immortalized, as an incomparable fingerprint that my coffee took that day just for that morning.
That was my coffee that morning before it faded away.
