RE: Lovely Cafè Place in town

in Cinnamon Cup Coffeelast month

The cafe looks excellent, @missdeli, and if I ever get to Arad again, I will look for it. I have only been to Arad twice, the first time long before you were born, almost fifty years ago; I did my end-of-year internship (practica, timp de o luna) in a village that seemed very big to me, or maybe it was a kind of suburb, I don't remember what it was called, I don't remember much from then, except that I made friends with a girl there who took me to the beach (strand).

The second time, about 6-7 years ago, I only stayed half a day and walked around the center for a few hours. I liked it!

Like you, I like cappuccino. I've been drinking only cappuccino for a few years; espresso is too hard, and now, in my old age, I prefer something softer and milder.

When I read a post, I usually read the comments. This way, I learn many interesting details.

This time, I had the pleasure of seeing your youngest family member. I wish him to grow up and be happy, healthy, and cheerful.

I'm one month late, sorry about that.
I took our friends from Constanta here and they loved it. I'm sure you would have liked it too.
Yeah, we still have that strand here. Our city is small but if someone's only passing by, I think they will enjoy it. Usually, our city center is clean and nice to go for a walk, have a coffee. But thats pretty much it. You can't do much here :d.
If I'd had to drink espresso, I would skip it. I dont like the taste, too strong for me too.

Thats something I do too. Thank you for your best wishes. He is doing well so far, thank God. 💙

Time doesn't matter now; the important thing is that everything is fine.
I liked the center, the old center of Arad. I saw many streets that I liked.

It's true that if the city is not too big, you walk around the same places you know well, but in a bigger city, like Bucharest, I usually walk around the same places and most of them I don't know, and I don't think I will ever go there...
Spring is here, and everything is starting to look beautiful.
Please have a wonderful spring, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Yes, I like some of areas in the city myself. Șpring is really nice, I feel it has a different vibe.
I love taking walks on Malul Mureșului.

In general, I dont mind living here. Maybe only sometimes, when I get bored. But living in buzy, crowded cities would make me very tired, I think.
I prefer living in a quiet place, and just travel when I'm in mood for something else.

Have a lovely Spring yourself! Thank you!😊

With pleasure! I'd love to go to the Malul Muresului.

I only found these pictures in my phone there, taken this last Fall. It is basically a large Park, with a long promenade on Mureș river.
