We called in at the Rockwater restaurant after a walk on the Branksome Chine Beach in Poole, Dorset. There's parts of the restaurant that are dog friendly. We went upstairs to the rooftop where they just served pizzas. We then found out dogs weren't allowed in this part, so we then went downstairs and had a pizza!!
We ordered cappuccinos with oat milk ....
... a coca cola on the rocks.
And we all had margharita pizzas. After taking our order, the waitress came back and asked my friend if we wanted a black coffee. My friend repeated that we wanted cappuccinos with oat milk. The waitress still looked puzzled. She said the person who makes the coffee wasn’t sure how to make a cappuccino with no milk?? The penny dropped then! My friend again said no it's OAT milk, not NO milk! The waitress had misheard her. Usually, it's me they can't understand in the South of England but my friend is a local.
Anyway, we finally got our cappuccinos with oat milk with some chocolate sprinkles on the top. It was well worth the wait.
The pooch enjoyed a bit of pizza as well.
You can't ask for a better view when you are drinking your favourite drink .... a cup of coffee.
