After a walk in the countryside,
we decided to call in at Cafe19 at Whites, situated inside the Spar supermarket with inside and outside seating. It has flat access, so good for wheelchair users as well.
Walking past the flowers, we made our way to the cafe.
It was fairly cold outside, so the warm blankets for customers was a nice touch.
We only had a couple of drinks to start off with, a latte and a double espresso. They are very small, but they pack a punch, so it went down a treat.
The coffees also came with a chocolate brownie. It was better than your boring biscuits that other cafés seem to give you.
We then decided to stop for something to eat. It saves cooking when you get in, so we settled on something simple, a couple of bowls of chips.
They looked more like French fries, though, covered in brown and red sauce. Yummy!
It was a nice friendly atmosphere and the staff were very friendly so you felt at home and the coffee and food were very good. I also like the fact you could do a bit of food shopping on the way out. That only left us to navigate another customer's pooch in the doorway to get out!
