This one made me laugh. Maybe there's a bit of synesthesia in me, but I appreciate the true taste of food better on white, or failing that, earth-colored or just plain black china. If my coffee cup is dark, it tastes sweeter to me and note that I don't use sugar in my coffee, hahah.

Anyway, what you say about disposable materials and the irresponsible production of waste is so true and worrying. I avoid all kinds of disposables, but it's pretty hard to avoid it in general.
