RE: Lyrical about Coffee, or not?

in Cinnamon Cup Coffee7 days ago (edited)

Hi... I'm one of those people who has internal conversations (a lot) when I'm visiting and I'm offered coffee. Hahaha...
A flying coffee machine hahaha... no, that can't be good. Definitely not. Coffee for me is to assimilate and to feel, to wake up too.
Grinders... that's true, it tastes better when you grind your own coffee. And if you roast it too hahaha... and if you pick it yourself in the mountains? I've been to a place where the whole process is done and the magic is absolute.

I wouldn't buy one of those machines even if I had the money... I don't know. I like to feel it closer, more handmade (artisanal).

Greetings @lizelle.

Haha @nanixxx, glad I'm not the only one having silent conversations with myself😅
My Grandpa used to roast his own coffee beans, the aroma was amazing, would fill the whole kitchen!
I've visited a coffee farm down the coast a couple of times, what a fabulous experience. I think they call the tours 'Crop to Cup', can't get fresher than that, right!
I always take home a selection of their excellent coffees.
I agree with you, for me coffee making is a kind of ritual, I much prefer that to a machine.
Enjoy the rest of your day @nanixxx 🤗
