With some Sundays it is harder to find the beautiful in the sublime. No I am not arguing that the sublime nor the beautiful are missing entirely. I'm just simply stating that on those particular days I have to work harder to find the good. One way I have found that helps me find my enjoyment of the day is to spend some time in the kitchen.
The Beautiful Sunday and Sublime Sunday tags are some of my faves! I want to thank @ace108 for running the beautiful Sunday tag every week and keeping such detailed stats and supporting the accounts. Also, a shout out to @c0ff33a for the sublime Sunday tag where your random Sunday posts are always welcome!
So I decided to try out this recipe for Tomato Orzotto
A special shout out to shawsimpleswaps.com for supplying this recipe!
So let's jump right into it by chopping up a quarter of an onion.
To that I'm going to add two tablespoons of minced garlic.
I then julienned long slices of squash.
Next I started to brown a package of beef.
I also added one 4 oz package of mushrooms.
Add a full can of diced tomatoes!
Next add a full can of beef broth.
Two tablespoons of Italian seasoning seems to do the trick.
I used a cup and a half of Orzo.
Can't forget two tablespoons of lemon juice.
I added two tablespoons of basil into the mix. One can also top with some extra basil for appearances.
Next I put six tablespoons of cream cheese into the sauce.
Some Parmesan cheese and Texas Pete’s Hot sauce really sparked up the flavor.
For a simple dish this had really good deep and rich flavors. I will definitely be making it again.
