My daughter wandering around

Hello there, amazing people!
It's been a long time since my Black & White entry was posted in the community. I was just too preoccupied offline these days. Anyway, let me tell you about our awesome visit to the Baluarte Watch Tower in Luna, La Union, about which I believe I wrote a travel blog not so long ago and was taken just before the Christmas holidays. It was a family side trip and even though it was smack in the middle of the day, it was totally worth it! I am going to share a few shots in black and white, which I think is a good entry for @photofeed's Black & White Photography Contest Round 61.
So, we've been to this watch tower a bunch of times before, but I gotta say, it never fails to amaze us. Every time we step foot in there, we're transported back in time and blown away by the history surrounding the place. It's not your average tower, let me tell you. This thing is like a time machine, taking us back to the Spanish colonial period, when it was built to keep an eye out for those pesky pirates.
The view is breathtaking! From the top of the tower, you can see the whole coastline of Luna, La Union. The sparkling blue sea against the backdrop of the sky is something you've got to see to believe (Sorry, can't see in the photos). It's like a postcard come to life! But you know what made our visit even more special? Our daughter was wandering around, exploring every nook and cranny of the place. And guess what? I managed to snap a photo of her with the tower in the background. It's the perfect memory to cherish from our fun-filled day. I gotta admit, it was scorching hot out there, but hey, that didn't stop us from having a blast. We discovered and felt a deep appreciation for the history that surrounds the Baluarte Watch Tower. Visiting this place is like stepping into a time capsule. It's a journey that brings us closer to our roots and reminds us of the incredible stories that shaped our past.
Thank you everyone and until next!
