Hello everyone. It's yet another week on Creative Sunday and I'm so happy to participate in this week's Creative Sunday.
This week, I will be sharing with you a recipe on how to prepare efo-riro. Efo-riro is a popular delicacy in Yoruba land. It is a delicious delicacy and it is highly nutritious. I love this delicacy so much because it can be served with lots of varieties like rice, eba, semo, and pounded yam. I love to serve mine with pounded yam. You won't believe how tasty and delicious it is when served with pounded yam.
I learned how to prepare this meal from my mum. She's a great cook and every of her cooking is top-notch. To show the extent of how much I love efo-riro, I cook it for at least a week because of how nutritious it is to the body. Kindly stay tuned as I share the recipe for this awesome meal.
INGREDIENT
• Palm oil
• Locust beans
• Pepper
• Onion
• Seasoning Cube
• Salt.
• Smoked Fish
• Vegetable (African Spinach)
PREPARATION
• Rinse and Slice the vegetables
• Place a clean pot on the heat stove.
• Add Palm oil into the clean and allow it to heat for about 3-4minutes
• Add your sliced onions and locust beans and allow it to fry for about 2 minutes.
• Add your blended pepper and onion and allow it to cook for about 7-8minutes.
• Add seasoning cube and salt to taste, and allow it to cook for about 7-8 minutes.
• Add the smoked fish and allow to cook for about 5 minutes
• Add your vegetable to the stew sauce and Stir, then allow it to cook for about 5 minutes
• Wow...The food is ready💃💃💃!!!
