Easy to prepare and perfect to share, these arepitas are ideal for any occasion, whether for breakfast, dessert or dinner.
Without further ado, here are the ingredients and the step-by-step:
-3 cups of corn flour
-1 cup of all-purpose wheat flour
-220 grams of paper
-Salt to taste
-Enough oil to fry
-Sweet guayabitas to taste
-1 Cinnamon stick
-Anise sweet to taste
-Cloves of spices to taste
-Llanero cheese to taste

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- The first thing we do is the papelón syrup: we transfer the papelón, the cloves of spices, the guayabitas and the cinnamon stick to a pot, we add a splash of water and we let the papelón melt and these ingredients combine very well and infuse with flavor, when melted we remove from the heat and let it reach room temperature to be able to use.*

- Immediately in a container we add the corn flour, the wheat flour, and the salt and stir until these three ingredients are well integrated.*
- Next we add water to the stove burner and let it reach a lukewarm temperature.*
- After the time has passed and the desired temperature has been achieved, we are going to add the flour described above.*
- Now let's add the sweet anise*
- We strain the paper syrup on top of the dough to avoid lumps, integrate and knead until combined to form a manageable dough.*
- Next, we turn on the burner and add enough oil to the pan. After it is very hot, we carefully make the arepas very thin and fry them.*
