I've seen way too many ways people breakup with people especially love partners, sometimes you'll wonder if love was ever there in the first place with the way they go about the breakup scene. I've not had much breakup experience and I do not have any worse one because I know when a relationship is good for me or not and do not need any worse excuse to leave or stay.
If I have to share one of the worse reasons people break up, I'll share a neighbour's story. Up till this day, that incident lives rent free in my head. I couldn't stop wondering about the kind of love they really had for each other before the unforgettable breakup day. The saying that "One should never go in between a couple fight to support one and badmouth the other, it may backfire"
I witnessed the backfire experience over and over with this two neighbours of mine back then until they finally broke up for real. Even in their break up days, we were expecting they will come back together so nobody dared to talk in favour of one or the other. One left but the other remained in the neighborhood until a few months and also moved out.
What happened? How did the breakup happen? What was the worse excuse?
Well, worse reason could also mean the cruelest reason and that is the case for this couple. They were all lovey dovey for months and I can remember some other neighbours gossip about them positively, like they were jealous of the couple's relationship. Well, the couple couldn't keep the perfect picture for long and it began to happen.
Before the breakup, the guy would always beat the lady and make her sleep outside the house as punishment for every mistake or wrong she did. At first, neighbors would go in to settle them and advice the man but it turned out it was a habit he was not ready to change from, they advice the lady to find someone else, she tagged them enemies.
The neighborhood had to let them be and just watch from their windows until that day we last saw the lady π what happened?
It was the usual beating, the lady was crying so loud, all her body with painful marks and she was sitting on the floor outside the house. To everyone's surprise, this lady got up, went inside and came out with her luggages. Everyone was so sure the man would beg her back inside but then, she brought out a knife.
Quite a big knife she held and pointed it towards the man with only one sentence coming out from her mouth... "Leave my life or you die, I quit!" and the man got scared, begging her to calm down. She refused to be calm but instead tries to harm the man with the knife anytime he tries to go close to her and her things.
At this point, neighbours tried to get the knife from her and she began to wave the knife around with the aim of harming anyone who goes close to her. At last, she stabbed the man on his wrist and ran away with her things. The man was treated but never heard from her or know where she left off too. Nobody bothered to ask why he broke up with the lady, it was obvious.
