If other countries are facing transportation issues, my country is having double or even triple of whatever they are facing over there. The experience with transportation over here keeps getting difficult, stressful, time consuming and draining finance.
Ever had to walk a long distance instead of taking a public vehicle?
When you don't mind the time you'll use by walking because paying for a public fare would take as much time, take money from you and even put you at risk with the kind of passengers you'll be made to share seats with.
Someone said and I'll share... "If it's not with your personal car and selective measures, leaving the house is too much problems in this economy".
Well, whether you're with a personal car or in a public transport, the problem seem to have been shared for everyone because of high cost of petrol . It's still funny to me how we went from the amount we spend to buy petrol back then to what we spend to get it now. The increase is almost traumatizing and you can't even blame why the public transport won't go easy on the prices to go to a distance.
In a country where everything made and sold is inflated, public transportation is to be leading in creating too much cost for people's living. All the goods sold are transported from one place to another, a good enough reason for increase in sales price. The idea of public transport before was that, it is supposed to be cheaper since it isn't very convenient but now, it is neither cheap or a little bit convenient.
There's too much to want to avoid on the public road, insecurity is another problem. It's impossible to give account for all the misfortunes that has happened to people on the way using public transport. You'll pay high fees for a distance only to be met with bad roads or bad people and not be able to get to your destination the same. It is becoming scary.
Traffic is another part of it, one that is becoming even too much to bear with now. From high cost of petrol to bad roads to traffic.
The bad roads are the major cause of traffic here in my area, although poor drivers are also a part of this but the bad roads play the bigger role. It's sad that the Government are doing nothing to make this a past story by giving better roads to every cities even when they are capable of making it possible.
People pay their taxes, buy the costly fuel but still have their vehicles or goods damaged due to bad roads while transporting from one place to another. There is even the life and health dangers in all these that I won't want to start ranting on about to avoid a too long post.
If you ask me what solution can be done to these problems on ground here in my city, I honestly can not think of any that I haven't said or shared here before. There's too much to be done for public transportation to be better again over here but we're not losing hope on our Government to take action.
