Today's world is the modern world and the world of technology. But nowadays no matter how advanced we are we have to earn food. We all want to have a good job and earn a lot of money from the job. We will earn a lot of money and we will build a good quality house and we will have a very nice car. And we will live a very luxurious life. But are you still aware of the current situation??
The current world situation is very dire. Constant floods and natural calamities are destroying our crops and we are all moving towards cities. Farmers who grow crops in villages are suffering financially and crop production is drastically reduced. Although we the people of the country are trying to make ourselves economically self-sufficient but still we have to procure and import food from abroad due to low agricultural production. As a result, we are facing the threat of massive food shortage and slow population growth in the country.
A farmer works day and night to produce crops. Farmers do not get much share of the profit except for the cost of crop seedlings, fertilizers, pesticides and all labor costs. But even after that, the amount of food grains that the farmers are producing is not able to meet the needs of our country and we are facing food problem. What should we do now in this extreme disaster??
Now we must increase dependence on agriculture and agricultural production. As much as we want to make ourselves smart, we won't be smart until we're food conscious. That is, if we want to claim ourselves as smart, then we must produce food and grow our own food and produce our own food.
Now may come the question? Can we earn our living by farming alone? If you have a minimum chargeable land of three bighas then you are self sufficient. Because by growing crops on this minimum three bigha land you can produce very good food for your family and you can get food sufficiency yourself. But a question remains as to how a person who does not have three bighas of property can earn his own living or manage his life.
Now I can give you a suggestion about this. Suppose you own one bigha of property. You grow crops on that one bigha property and grow your own crops ie your own food and try to do something yourself.
On the other hand you can raise cattle if you want. Because livestock rearing is an important part of agriculture. Grow food and you can also raise livestock to meet the needs of the Amish. Cattle rearing will fulfill your family's needs like food, milk and meat, while you will be able to make yourself more financially independent. Because a cattle can give you at least two times profit annually. If you buy a cattle for one lakh rupees at the beginning of the year and keep it reared, you can sell the cattle for double the price after one year. Besides the food from that cattle you can meet the needs of your family and make yourself economically self-sufficient.
Also, if you want to associate yourself with agriculture, I can give you an excellent idea to make a plough. If you have cattle and are engaged in agriculture then this is an excellent opportunity for you to do plowing. Because you will be plowing on one side and that plow ox can be your second source of income. You can simultaneously cultivate the land and also take care of your own financial crisis by rearing livestock at home.
I have seen many houses. Those who own agricultural land and have cows in their homes. You can easily make a plow with your cattle if you want, just by paying some wood and bamboo and crafting costs. Besides plowing your own land, you can earn money by plowing other people's land and you can support yourself economically.
Agriculture is our life Agriculture is our inspiration. We can grow our own crops if we want to. One of the agricultural activities is the production of food grains and rearing of cattle and fish farming.
We are not as smart as we think we are. Because we still claim to be smart but we are far behind in food grain production. Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, i.e. all SAARC countries are dependent on agriculture. So if we want to improve our standard of living more then we must move more towards agriculture. Because the more we are interested in agriculture the more we will be able to improve ourselves. So let us get involved in agriculture to improve and establish ourselves. Because we survive on earth because of agriculture and farmers and we are able to preserve our food.
