Its raining in bengaluru and the weather is very pleasant.
So I thought to make Vermicelli Pulav or Upma. Its a south Indian dish and very flavourful. It is served in Breakfast and dinner. Its a quick dish which can be made anyday and anytime. There are many ways to make this Vermicelli upma. Today I am sharing with veggies one with you all.
Veggies like Peas, carrot, beans, capsicum goes well in this dish.
Come lets see how to make
So here we goes
INREDIENTS
Vermicelli -1 cup
Onion-½cup
Potato-⅓cup
Carrot -½cup
Beans-½cup
capsicum -½ cup
Mustard seeds-½tspn
Turmeric powder-⅓tspn
Salt- according to the taste.
METHOD
1.Boil Vermicelli in a bowl.
2.then strain the water and add wash by cold water. So that it will not be mushy.
3.then chop all the above veggies.
4.now heat oil in kadhai and add mustard seeds.
5.then add onion slices.
Stir and cook it till they are transparent.
6.then add all the chopped veggies.
7.further add Turmeric
8.then add salt.
9.mix it properly.
10.Add boiled Vermicelli and stir it.
10.then add coriander leaves 🍃 and mix it. Off the gas flame and transfer the Vermicelli in a serving plate.
It looks colorful and delicious 😋..

If you want to add some ketchup from top for sweet flavour you can, otherwise its a perfect dish to have it without putting anything in it.
