Hello hiveans! Welcome to my blog. Its sunday and I am back with a new recipe of Avacado. Today I am sharing a recipe of Avacado Paranthas with you all. I decided to give indian twist to my Paranthas with some spices.
Avacados has many health benifits. Earlier In my home no one liked to eat Avacado but now once in a month I make Avacado Paranthas and every one likes to have it.
It can be served with Raita or Any gravy Based curry or Stir fry! Today I made a stir Fry of Beans and Potato.
So lets start to Make Avacado parantha.
Ingredients -
Avacado-1
Garlic-6 nos
Greenchili-2
Wheat flour -2cup
Carrom seeds-½tspn
Salt-to the taste
Oil-for parantha (hlf bowl)
Water-for kneading dough
Butter- 1
Method
1.peel avacado , chop it and place the pieces in mixer grinder.
2.add garlic and some green chilies
3.in a platter take wheat flour.
4.add some carrom seeds and salt and little oil.
5.Mix all well
6.Now add the avocado paste.
7.And knead a dough with the help of little water as-needed.
Keep the dough for 15 mins in rest.
8.Then knead it again and divide the dough in equal sizes.
Flatten it by palm and roll them in a flour.
9.Now roll it with the help of rolling pin.
Then smear some oil and fold in a triangle shape shown in the pic below.
Then roll it in triangle shape. You can give it any shape I like triangle shape for Parantha.
Heat a skillet.
Then place the parantha over the skillet.
When the parantha changes colour and began to puff then flip it .
Then cook from the another side too. The golden brown spots will appear then apply some oil or butter and spread it all over the paranthas.
Flip the paranthas and put oil again on the other part. Press the parantha with the spatula.
Make sure the paranthas are cooked well .
Repeat for the remaining paranthas .
Serve hot !!!
Paranthas are best when served hot hot with pickle/ Raita or stir fry veggies!
