A child that has two parents, independent of the sex, life will be simpler.

I agree with you on this! Also, when a child only has one parent taking care of him or her, he or she feels the missing gap a lot and that could affect him or her in every area. Being a single parent can be overwhelming and draining but it all depends on how such person is able to take care of a child.
