Ingredients
Potato (Half kg)
Peas (Half kg)
Rice (1 kg)
Onion (50 gm)
Tomato (1 piece)
Green Chillies (4 prices)
Ginger (30 gm)
Ground Red Chillies (1 Tablespoon)
Salt (1 Tablespoon)
Turmeric (Half Tablespoon)
Oil (50 gm)
Procedure
First we will take 50 grams of onion and chop it. Then we will add 50 grams of oil to it and let it cook on low flame.
Now we will wash and cut the tomatoes, ginger and green chillies and prepare their paste.
When the color of the onion turns brown, then we will add ginger tomato and green chili paste to it. Then we will add water(100 gm) to it. Now add one tablespoon of crushed red chillies and one tablespoon of salt and add half a tablespoon of turmeric and cook it for five minutes.
Now we will wash and peel half a kg of potatoes well and cut them into small pieces. Then we will also add these potatoes and cook it till these potatoes are cooked to some extent. It takes about 20 minutes to cook
Now we will add half a kg of peas and cook it for five minutes. Because peas cook faster than potatoes. Then we will add two kg of water and cook it till the water starts to boil
When the water starts boiling, then we will add one kilo of soaked rice and cook it for 10 minutes. When it swells, then we will put a plate on top of it and cook it on low flame for five minutes.
Then five minutes later our potatoes, peas rice will be ready
