The thing I love to take

in Hive Learners3 days ago

Greetings!

One thing is that, there's things we like but not good for us. Those things are what make us happy and comfortable, but the fact is that they are not that good for our health.

Also, there's things we do in the form of our habits that are not so good. These things at the back of our mind are things that can affect us negatively, but because of our addiction to them, they are things that we like.

Having said so much about what we like and how we are addicted to them, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt, which is all about, “Is it that bad?”

My response to the question is in two ways. The first is Yes, it's bad and the second is a No, which means it's not that bad.

To me my sugar intake is one thing I'm always afraid of and this is just because of the fact that I know the health effect of this on people, most especially those that it has affected around me, and anytime I take it in large quantities or take it over and over again, I'm always afraid of what it consequences might be on me and this is why I can boldly say that, “It's bad.”

On the other hand, if it's that bad, I should have been healthy the way I am today. Some time ago, when I started not to take sugar as I used to take it before, I fell sick and I went to the hospital for a medical checkup and it's when I got to the hospital that the doctor ran a test on me and what he discovered shocked me.

When the doctor ran the check on me, he discovered that my sugar level was too low and to me, I was shocked and I began to ask myself how could that be possible as Inl haven't in my entire life heard about what he had just said. I asked him how possible that could be and he said it's very possible and that such always happens when the sugar intake in the body system is very low.

It's after he had said this that he advised me to be taking more sugar for a period of time. He gave me a stipulated time to do this and advised me to come back for checkup after the stipulated time.

It's after he had told me this that I began to take the amount of sugar he had prescribed for me and after the stipulated time, I went to him and he ran the test on me again and it's then he told me that my sugar level had been regularized. He further advised me to always normalize every one of my sugar intake which means it should not be too much nor too small.

I started with that and I'm now healthy. So, to me, my sugar level isn't too bad and not too good, but should be normalized.

This is my entry to the week 205, episode 01 of the weekly Featured contest in the Hive Learners community.
