Happy Chooseday π always remember to choose happy.. esp. on this day π 28 days to go.. but before the year ends, most folks would be celebrating the season of gift giving. π 'tis the season for children. I remember looking forward to the gifts in my younger days. π I've honestly stopped celebrating much of the holidays over the years. Mom was the one who loved celebrations, so I guess we celebrated for her. I'd rather celebrate the spirit of Christmas all year round. That means I don't wait for that one season in the year to treat myself and buy the things I like. I could do that the whole year through. I gotta admit though that most folks are kinder and more generous during this season. But I do wonder why not be kind and generous the whole year through. No, I don't mean to go all out spending. I mean just be kind and considerate most of the time. It does not need to be limited to one season. π
Have you started preparing for the holidays? In a way, I think I have. Gift giving can not be helped, as there are folks who are expecting to be gifted. π I admit preparing for it is a cause of stress for me, but it needs to be done. I've celebrated alone last year, so it will be pretty much the same this year. I honestly haven't thought of any special meals, but let's see what I can come up with. π For now, I'll take each day as it comes.
The cool weather makes the kitties use their mini kitty tower to cuddle together. Some of them use the cabinets under the guinea pig cage to stay warm. I kept some pillows there so I guess they like it too. Funny it's not that cool, yet I think the indoor kitties have adapted to warm more. I've allotted one of the fans in the main living area to be the midnight fan. I turn it on before going to bed so there's ventilation. It works as it's pretty cool and comfy in the main living area when I get up in the morning.
Four more work days. Can't wait for another weekend again. It's cleaning and gardening weekend. Somehow, I'll find my rest.
I work on these affiliate sites daily. Just reached $1 on LL. It will take awhile to get to payout, but I'll get there.
I've drafted my gift list, so prepping for it comes next. Yeah, one step at a time to lessen the stress. Time to wrap up for the day. Do enjoy your week. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! π
