Another week comes to an end. Happy Caturday ๐บ My very brief weekend finally begins tonight.
The feeling never grows old when I'm welcoming my brief day off. I guess I will always be excited for the weekend. ๐ With all that's happening in my life right now, I think my default face will be my cover photo. If I'd be honest, 2025 has lost its spark for me. Life goes on though. I'll take things as they come.
Yesterday I mentioned I purchased a floral arrangement for Mom's vault for Valentine's day. I followed up with the flower shop and got the photo today.
Caturday Feature
I figured I'd start the kitty stories from the beginning as I recall. After all, I want to remember all the kitties happily. I decided I'd look through all the photo collection and start sharing their stories to remember them better. It all started with cat momma MingMing -- the mother of all cats. ๐๐น That's what I call her since Mom saw her pregnant and scrimping from the trash bin. It tugged at Mom's heart so she bought sardines and fed MingMing. To this day, MingMing's still a wild kitty outdoor.
When MingMing had her litter, she left them to Mom. That's the OG litter -- Inni, Mini, Miny, Mowe. This was back in November 2018 when we found them outside. It was our first time caring for kittens. The irony is they all grew up just fine without much fuss. Back in those days, there were less folks in the building. I think the outdoor kitties were safer then.

Disclaimer: I got the email mixed up so I think I featured the Feb. 15th prompt last week. This was supposed to be the one for last week. ๐
Guess it's the same thing as saying you can't fight fire with fire; that the only way to overcome hate is with love. I'd be honest it's tough. In my case, I find it tough to be kind to inhumans who are not kind to the outdoor kitties. That's why I dream of providing a safe haven for them, but the outdoor kitties are quite capable of taking care of themselves. ๐โค๏ธ๐ก Still I wish more folks would be kinder to animals.
Two weeks to go... and we'll say good-bye to February. ๐ฑ How time flies indeed! I've made plans for tomorrow. I hope all will go according to plan. I'll share more about it on Monday.
