Nowadays, most of the news content I consume is via social media/YouTube.

I tend to look at social networks a lot, whether it's facebook, instagram, hive, X, threads (meta) in short, all of these are sources of information for me because I've practically silenced a lot of people who only post nonsense and I've bookmarked profiles about technology, cryptocurrencies, positivity and information, so practically all of my networks are focused on good things for me.

I used to like to follow the news on TV, but I do it very rarely for the simple reason that the media only shows news that interests them and is no longer impartial. My main source of information is watching videos by some Youtuber influencers, mainly about economics, finance and nowadays I've abstained from politics.

Interesting topic! I get notifications of local news stories and football stories from sites I subscribe too. I usually check the BBC site for news, then goto google or X to get more info. Often put BBC and X versions together and imagine somewhere in the middle and it is true enough.

To stay informed I use different media but in particular the internet but whatever information I look for the main part is finding a reliable source because the source is often more important than the information because there is so much fake news out there

My main source of information is Youtube and my main way of consuming it is to watch / listen on my laptop to the latest videos from the various channels that I subscribe to. I can't remember the last time I read a paper newspaper or magazine; instead, I simply subscribe to their youtube channels.

I usually mix it up.
I follow some trusted traditional media outlets for breaking news, scroll through social media for trending topics, and subscribe to a few newsletters that align with my interest.
Blogs are great for deeper insights, and platforms like Hive add a unique perspective.
I consume most of it online, either on my phone or PC, depending on the time and mood.

I honestly avoid consuming much world news. I don't watch tv or read newspapers. When I want to confirm or read something specific, I just search online or news channels😁

I would say it's Youtube and Hive for me.

I watch traditional news, I do research online and I check social media. It's very hard to trust what you see these days, so it's good to get confirmation from many different sources.

I consume all type of information from all kinds of sources and I make my own conclusions. I usually watch the TV informative, scroll down on the trending topics of X and read specialised blogs… but mainly I read here on Hive.

I stick to traditional media mostly. Newspapers and the news on TV. :)

There's so many ways and forms of media now that I struggle to consume everything every single day.

I have my feed reader setup to push all the different news articles from 20-30 news sources to me daily. I also have reddit and Twitter too. I barely watch the news on television any more as everything will have been covered by the time I'm through reading everyday.

Game News - discord
Finance News - youtube/blogs
Local News - traditional media

A bit of everything, although I watch less and less television. I guess mainly for crypto blogs.

I am trying to get more isolated and consume the minimum of new world info. But my cell phone pops up with X notifications, MSN or even local Canadian traditional news or some friend from whatsapp.
When there is something bombastic, I try to investigate many different sources and always try to question dramatic fragments of the news which probably aren't so dramatic at all.

I think mostly on Social Media to know about some specific topics and TV News to know about general stuff happening around the world. However in social media we get to know more than what we were searching for at first too lol.

For me, it's a mixture of many places, but mainly it's traditional/mainstream media and X/Twitter.

Mainly through online newspaper and I do still watch the TV news from time to time.

A combination of social media like x and YouTube, some traditional media, and podcasts.

Depends on the type of information I am seeking.

  • from the source
  • reviews
  • podcasts
  • articles
  • guides
  • online news
  • traditional media

It's so wide the theme for me...
Honestly O use different sources it's YouTube, telegram, Hive, some other unofficial media including even apps of independent journalists.
I don't sure that my subscription will be interesting to other people so I won't put example links.
But for me it's important that information which I read passed fact checking✅
Or I should believe to this information source.

Depends on what update 🤔 !ALIVE

Usually through social media, including Hive. I confess that I’m very specific about the types of topics I’m interested in.

In all kinds of ways but above all with a critical spirit.

I stopped engaging with traditional news sources several years ago. So I reckon my main source of national and world news is from talking to people. Then I search for more information about anything that interests me.

I also use Upday (a news feed on my Samsung phone) and the home pages of Chrome and Brave browsers. But I'm very selective about going beyond the headlines.
