Sorry, my wording must have caused confusion.

I wanted to say that chocolate cakes are among the most popular in the world. And then he pointed out that the Black Forest Cake is among the most popular in German pastries.

Considering that among the ingredients of this cake, in its traditional recipe, there is liquor, I doubt that it will be popular in several countries where there is a cultural ban on the consumption of liquor. But, it may happen that in such cases alternative versions of this cake are available, which do not include liquor.
