I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
My busy off-grid jungle and Hive days continue without pause, with my day already being quite full, and it's not even 12PM yet. Aside from my usual morning token maagement, I also wrote and published My 130th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 2/3 Weekly Goals Surpassed, and 8,300 HP This Week!, milked the cow with Jo(hanna), and made my superfood fire coffee, all before finally sitting down to write this post. The weather didn't cooperate yesterday to go over to work at Lea's as I was intending (it rained), so I'll try to do that either today or this coming Sunday, whichever flows best. I've also got to collect cow-milking food for tomorrow, too, of course.
Although I only achieved 2 of my 3 weekly Hive goals this round, I did exceed both of the ones that I did reach, Hive Power and HBD in Savings, with HP being surpassed by almost 11 beyond what I expected. My Hive Power will get another nice boost on Saturday (in my time zone at least) when I power up somewhere around 40 HIVE for the December HPUD. This HPUD is a special one, because it will be a year since I did my mega-powerup to dolphin level for the last December HPUD, where I powered up 2,715.315 HIVE, which brought me to 5,788.852 Hive Power. With the 8,267.167 HP that I presently, this means that since my powerup last HPUD, I've gained 2,478.315 HP from posts, curation, delegations, income tokens, Ecency Leaderboard rewards, contests, and HP's 2.77-3.36% APR. That's pretty good, but it's still under what I was prognosticating by this point in time.
My December HPUD powerup on Saturday will take me past 8,300 HP, which is great, but it's still far off from my year-end goal of 10,000 Hive Power, which I'll only have one more month to achieve. Ouch. I'm also quite far behind my year-end goal of 500 HBD in Savings, with me presently sitting at 371.748. Double ouch. Both are obviously going to require some outside help for me to successfully reach them. That's not very inspiring, but I'll just do the best that I can with the resources that I have available.
One of the sources for the HIVE that I powerup each HPUD comes from the weekly rewards that I receive for remaining in the top ten, and usually in the top three, of the Ecency Leaderboard, which I've successfully done for quite a long time now. I've actually lost count how long I've been there, though it's probably been over two years straight by this point. Mind you, this isn't something that I intentionally tried to do. Just going through my abundant notifications every day is usually sufficient to put me in the top three, and always at least in the top ten, on the Ecency Leaderboard. That's pretty cool, especially considering that I receive weekly rewards in HIVE and Ecency Points for doing so.
Most weeks remaining in the top three is easy, and requires nothing other than what I do anyway. Some weeks, however, like this one, are much more challenging to stay in the top three, due to super-active new people, and this past week there have been two of those, so I've had to put much more focused effort into maintaining my position in the top three. I haven't checked my final placement in the Leaderboard yet, but since I saw that I received 3 HIVE this morning, I know that I'm at least in the #3 spot, very thankfully. One thing that I'll say about being at the top of the Leaderboard for so long is that, while it's common for new people to appear there, and even to hold the #1 spot for a period of time, at some point they invariably vanish, unable to maintain such activity over an extended period of time. That's not the case with me, as I'm exceedingly consistent, so nobody beats me over longer periods of time. I always return to the #1 spot at some point, and I usually stay there for weeks at a time. Not bad at all just for going through my notifications daily.
Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after I finished my Hive tasks, around 1:45PM, focusing first on collecting a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food. As I mentioned above, although I was planning to go over to Lea's to help her with some clearing and prunning work, the weather did not cooperate at all, beginning to rain again when I went to get cow food. As such we rescheduled for either later today or this coming Sunday. After collecting cow food in the rain, I took a hot shower, then I made myself some homemade French fries in the Landing, that I used to dip into my leftover guacamole (I'm amazed that it's still good, as I've been eating it for days now). After eating, I took a short break up at the Flow House, then I chopped and dumped used coconuts at the coco bar, and cleaned up that area a bit. With that done, I returned to the Flow House to get to a bit more catching up on my Hive notifications (something that I did on and off all day), to get into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to finish getting through my notifications. I got everything done on Hive by around 10:30PM, and after some token management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed around 11:30PM. While I didn't sleep great, I woke up around 7:30AM, feeling pretty good, doing another round of token management, writing and publishing my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update, then getting out of bed to go milk the cow with Jo, and make my superfood fire coffee. It's now just before 1:30PM, so a great time to end this post, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first focus on some photography for these posts, collecting cow food, and then heading over to Lea's for the above-mentioned clearing and prunning work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
