I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
It's no secret that I've become entrralled by diesel/liquidity pools, and that I've been diving ever-deep into a great many of them, so much so that my stake in certain pools is becoming quite substantial. I've always been into liquidity pools, but it was the recent DRIP debacle that made me shift my investment priorities, moving liquidity pools to a higher priority than income tokens, and as I survey my assets and income, I can see clearly that this was indeed a very good decision. I now have a stable, consistent, dependable, and workable daily income in SWAP.HIVE, along with various other useful and valuable assets, that I've continued to invest and reinvest into a good array of great pools.
Given the importance of various liquidity pools in terms of my daily asset income, I've been adding as much liquidity to these pools as my resources allow, going so quickly and deeply, in fact, that my goal of becoming a pool whale is slowly beginning to come to fruition, with my stake in 6 pools now exceeding 1% of total liquidity. That's pretty great, and I'm just getting started! Take a look at those numbers!
Diesel/Liquidity Pools Where Liquidity Is 1% or Greater
MEME:PEPE - 6.549%
DVS:DHEDGE - 3.238%
SWAP.HIVE:MEME - 2.701%
SWAP.HIVE:PWR - 2.471%
MEME:FUN - 1.316%
CENT:SWAP.BTC - 1.147%
My dear friend and community co-leader, @borniet, suggested that until I become an official full-blown pool whale, that my moniker should be Lord of the Pools, and I must say that I rather like the ring of it, and it does seem to be fitting me more each day! For newcomers that want to bootstrap and spark their growth on Hive, I strongly suggest that they assess their assets, then look on BeeSwap's 'Pool' tab (being sure to click 'Expand all'), to find pools that provide desirable rewards for the token pairs that are available. Soon there will be lots more tokens to add to lots more pools, which will only further accelerate asset and income growth.
Presently my assets in diesel/liquidity pools are a little over $400 in fiat-dollar value, most of which is in the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool (which came from my DRIP devestment), but truly this is just the beginning. My short-term pool goal is to get that past $1,000, with a more even distribution across the many pools in which I have liquidity. Lately I've been diverting my daily PWR payout into acquiring more DVS, of which I then swap part for DHEDGE, to add to their shared pool. Once I get my liquidity to the point where that pool pays out 0.1 SWAP.HIVE each day, then I'll start growing the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool once again, since it provides the highest daily SWAP.HIVE payout of any pool in which I have assets.
I was just thinking that perhaps I should come up with some sort of rating system for the diesel/liquidity pools where I have experience, to help those not familiar with specific pools, or with liquidity pools in general, because they are most definitely not all the same! I'll add it to my mental idea-todo list. I've realized that much of the Hive community knows little to nothing about diesel/liquidity pools, or their benefits, which is part of why I write posts like this, and talk about them so often, to bring awareness to opportunities and possibilities. If you'd like help with pools, let me know, and I'll be happy to help!
Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, just before 2PM, giving my attention first to a round of photography for these posts. The sun was out thankfully, so I got a beautiful batch of shots. After photography, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, and then after a shower, I took a short asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which I got through a big chunk of work in my old nursery sifting soil. I found a better screen to use, which sped up the process immensely. I filled another 2 1/2 5-gallon buckets, for a total of 5 now. Once I filled my last available bucket with beautiful soil, I cleaned up and went to try to set up an internet connection for Lizzie in the Bali Hut, which sadly was not successful. I need to troubleshoot the line when I have some more open time. Once I realized that there was nothing more that I could do for Lizzie about the internet at that moment, I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and I made my way back to the Flow House, to get to my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just after 11:15PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed just a little after 12PM. I did thankfully sleep well, waking up just after 6AM, doing more asset management, starting on this post, and then getting out of bed around 7:45AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing. I'm slowly beginning to remove myself from cow-milking duties, and thankfully Jo is fine with milking solo, so she's giving that a try this morning. I'll still be collecting cow food until other people to do it become available. I intend to use the time allocated to cow stuff for the plant and garden work that I've been wanting and needing to do for a while now. One step at a time. It's now just after 11:45AM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography (if the weather cooperates, as it's raining now), straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. I also have a meeting with the Leadership Council at 4PM, which I'm really hoping goes smoothly. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until the next iteration of this post tomorrow! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
