I feel like I've been a regular to this community now, but it isn't my fault that all the events I look forward to land on a Wednesday XD Like today, it was the premier of the Demon slayer movie (Kimetsu no Yaiba) and as a fan of the anime, I definitely had to watch it!!!
So I actually clocked out at the exact time from work today because I reaaalllyyy wanted to watch on the afternoon slot and not on the evening slot. To say I ran was an understatement XD I would have flown if I could just so I had time to go snack buying
I barely made it, I was still 15 minutes earky from the actual screening and all the good seats were basically gone by then ;;-;; I still managed a decent seat on the mid row, just a little to the right of the screen. All in all, it was a good seat still, not so much neck strain aaannnnddd there were snacks that came with the ticket so that basically saved me from starving because it was a 2 hour and 30 minute movie, but since it was such a good anime, it didn't feel that long to me at all ;;-;;
The movie poster because I forgot to take a photo of it as is so I had to pull one from the internet
The fight scenes were so intense, the flashbacks were just sooooo touching that I teared up from a few of them and all in all, the art was just beautiful! They really splurged on this one. I actually thought they changed animators when the movie was starting because I don't remember demon slayer having such intricate and superb art like that, bu as th movie progressed, I kind of saw the old art that made me so familiar with this anime.
I'm not really allowed to take photos in th theater so this was done in secret XD
Then after the movie, I thought to get something light to eat because I was still processing what I just watched. I heard it was gonna be a 3 part movie instead of an actual animation season and it sounds pretty okay because if you splice the entire movie in anime length, you still get like 6 episodes out of it so that's basically like half a season now.
I was kind of sad because the night market wasn't as buzzing as how it used to be ;;-;; there used to be like 3 lanes of stalls going around the area but I guess some had to close down because they probably weren't getting as much profit as they used to have
Then I got crispy stir fried noodles and that concluded my evening
I hope your Wednesdays were good? UwU
