This post is for the #wednesdaywalk challenge and the #makemesmile challenge collaboration. This collaboration initially took place once a month, but due to its popularity, @tattoodjay (of the #wednesdaywalk) and @elizacheng (of #makemesmile) decided to make it a weekly thing.
If you want to know more about the rules, visit this week's post by @tattoodjay where you will find all the rules at the bottom of his post after you've enjoyed his beautiful photos from his walk.
I want to share some early morning photos today. These photos were taken during an early morning walk at Wilson's Wharf, which is technically in the Durban Harbor, yet, you can only access the entertainment area, restaurants, and the docks to private yachts and boats. You cannot get access to the rest of the harbor from here.
The first photo was taken just after sunrise, looking out over some boats, docked just outside the main entertainment area in Wilson's Wharf.
Various charters offer cruises to the public from these docks, taking people out on 30-minute or 1-hour cruises. Some cruises are in and around the harbor, while others take you on a 1-hour cruise on the ocean.
From there, we drove to another area, also in Wilson's Wharf, where more boats are docked. You can see their masts in the distance in the photo below.
Most boats and yachts at these docks are privately owned and for private use only.
These two boats, My Girl and My Girl Too, belong to a charter company.
Some time ago, my wife and I enjoyed a 1-hour ocean cruise on My Girl. It was awesome!
No shortage of boats here...lol.
A view over the harbor...
More yachts...with the city of Durban in the background.
My last photo for today also gives you an idea of the size of some of these boats. I also like the reflections in the water.
And that's all for today, folks.
Thank you for reading my post! I do appreciate it!
