Do you know how different the taste of oranges from the supermarket is and those oranges that you plucked from the tree with your own hands?
We often took pictures of such beautiful orange trees on the streets of Kemer. Sometimes we wanted to taste these delicious fruits, but... more often than not they were tasteless, too sour... And we bought tangerines and oranges in the supermarket. Prices here are affordable for these fruits. 1 kg costs about $0.7. But one day we tasted the taste of real oranges from a tree! This was an unexpected surprise during our walk in the forest. Suddenly we saw an orange grove by the road and plucked a bag for ourselves. It was heavenly delight!
After this incident, we no longer wanted to buy oranges in the supermarket, because they were very different in taste. Oranges from the tree are so juicy! And we dreamed again: when we rent a car, we will go to this forest again and collect these heavenly fruits! After all, no one collects them. Oranges fall and rot...
But life gave us a pleasant gift again. Our friend lives in the village of Kirish, which is 7 km from Kemer, in Turkey.
There is an orange grove near his house. And he invited us to pick as many of these sunny orange wonder fruits as we wanted!
A friend picked us up in his own car. At first we drove along the beautiful cottages, but then we turned right, and here we were in the orange paradise, which is next to the house.
Very friendly people live here. Their children loved us very much. Here was a little girl helping my Darinka pick fruit.
We were fascinated by these magnificent trees, with round crowns that were filled with abundant orange balls! It is such a beautiful sight against the background of the blue mountains of Kemer.
Here the girls are happy. We collected a full bag and, of course, a photo to remember!
And after our exciting walk through the fragrant orange garden, the owner's son showed us the greenhouse where bananas grow.
Those giant bunches of bananas look so exciting! There were many boxes there filled with bananas. The boy gave me some to taste, but they were green and tasteless. I wonder if green bananas can become ripe and tasty if they are picked and lying in a box?
