Hola, ¿qué tal todos, cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Por aquí todo muy bien, gracias a Dios, un día de trabajo bastante relajado para lo que pensé que sería porque, honestamente, detesto los lunes, tanto por pararse temprano como por lo movido que son.
Gracias a Dios, mi fin de semana fue bastante tranquilo y, como me gusta, movido; poder salir y distraerse aunque sea comiéndose un helado. La cuestión es que ayer hicimos varias paradas que poco a poco les iré comentando por aquí ya que fueron varias cositas interesantes.
Hello, how is everyone doing today? Everything is going very well here, thank God. It has been a fairly relaxed day at work, which is more than I expected because, honestly, I detest Mondays, both for having to get up early and for how hectic they are.
Thank God, my weekend was quite peaceful and, as I like it, busy; being able to go out and distract myself, even if it's just eating ice cream. The thing is, yesterday we made several stops that I'll gradually tell you about here, as there were several interesting things.
Pero una de las primeras es que no sé si se acuerdan, alguna vez les compartí mi visita a Ciudad Gastronómica en la isla de Margarita a comer en Pizzería Mamma Mia, y les comenté que en su momento la pizza no fue nada buena y, además de eso, el lugar estaba que realmente daba miedo porque se veía todo como roto.
Pues les cuento que el día de ayer llegamos allá porque unos primos les hablaron hace poco muy bien del lugar y ellos querían ir, así que bueno, tocaba complacerlos, ya que no son de aquí y no íbamos a poder hacerlo de nuevo. La cuestión es que cuando llegamos al sitio, me quedé superimpresionada; aparte de que todo está cerrado, se encuentra totalmente limpio y el ambiente cambió la cara totalmente.
But one of the first things is that I don't know if you remember, I once told you about my visit to Ciudad Gastronómica on Margarita Island to eat at Pizzería Mamma Mia, and I mentioned that at the time the pizza wasn't very good and, on top of that, the place was really scary because everything looked broken.
Well, yesterday we went back there because some cousins had recently told them good things about the place and they wanted to go, so we had to humour them, since they're not from here and we weren't going to be able to do it again. The thing is, when we got there, I was really impressed; apart from the fact that everything is closed, it's completely clean and the atmosphere has changed completely.
Ofrecen varios ambientes y, además de eso, las pizzas tienen cashea y siguen siendo totalmente accesibles: dos pizzas familiares enormes a 20 $ más un refresco de 2 L, cosa que nos impresionó bastante porque en el Sambil estaban en ese precio una sola pizza y yo decía por dentro de mí: "Ojalá que no estén malas como la otra vez".
Asi que al probarlas de verdad que estaban muy ricas, lo unico que no me gusto es que la nuestra estaba un poquito tostadita pero al menos estaba deliciosa, y el ambiente me gusto porque con estas calores estabamos en un cuartico con full aire que hasta Jade se me quedo dormida en las piernas de lo comoda que estaba y eso si después de comerse un rico aperitivo para ella, pero la verdad esta vez si se los recomendaría creo que mejoro mucho la calidad del lugar y de las pizzas asi que de verdad no me quejo ¡Saludos!
They offer several different atmospheres, and on top of that, the pizzas are generous and still very affordable: two huge family-size pizzas for £20 plus a 2-litre soft drink, which impressed us quite a bit because at Sambil that was the price for a single pizza, and I said to myself, "I hope they're not as bad as last time."
So when we tried them, they were really delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that ours was a little burnt, but at least it was delicious, and I liked the atmosphere because with this heat, we were in a room with full air conditioning, and even Jade fell asleep on my lap because she was so comfortable, and that was after eating a delicious appetiser for her. But honestly, this time I would recommend them. I think the quality of the place and the pizzas has improved a lot, so I really can't complain. Cheers!
