This is my post for #freewriters 2281 prompt at least you’ve got your health hosted by @mariannewest

I have often thought about what all my ancestors had to go through for me to be here and if one had died, would I still exist? If I go back to my 10th Great Grandparents they say there would be 4,096 people who had to survive long enough to have sex with someone and get pregnant or make someone pregnant for me to be here. Think about it for a moment that is a lot of people and they died young back then.

I have lost 4 brothers all in their late twenties and none of them had any children. Who knows who one of their offspring could have been, could one of them found the cure for cancer, we will never know.

So the next time you are feeling down, think at least you got your health and if you are a parent feel BLESSED that you will one day be someone's 10th generation grandparent.

I saw this on a quick Google search
What will humans evolve into?
We will likely live longer and become taller, as well as more lightly built. We'll probably be less aggressive and more agreeable but have smaller brains. A bit like a golden retriever, we'll be friendly and jolly, but maybe not that interesting.

Leave it to google to think humans will be less powerful than we are now. I don't believe that. Google will be gone, and humans will have won the war we are fighting now.

I don't think that is the way we will turn out either. I do not understand the smaller brains because people have become smarter over the years, if anything our brains must be getting bigger.

I am not so sure about my health and I doubt I will ever be anyone's 10th great parent, not even the 1st great-grandparent.

More interesting to me is that each generation in my family is from a different race. How did these people ever meet?

Thanks for the good read.

It does not mean you will be alive being a 10 great-grandparent. It is your dead ancestors back that far.

That is a good question. how do you get each generation to be a different race?

I didn't meant being alive but without grandchildren it's impossible.

I assume travelling or? 🤔

Maybe one day you will have grandchildren.

That chance is veeeery small but I don't care. It's not my deepest wish all I want is my children to be happy and able to take care of themselves first.

Enjoy the weekend

I understand, my youngest is 42, she is the only one who has not given me a grandchild and now I have given up on getting one from her.

Mine just don't want to, they do not like to raise children in a world with more and more restrictions. They don't see a bright future for themselves.
