Hola comunidad Argentina! Cómo están? Qué buena pregunta la de los discos de vinilo, que se están viendo mucho últimamente.
Les cuento, una prima que se fue de viaje me regaló el tocadiscos de su padre, que necesita reparar la púa al menos, según me dijo.
Lo mas loco es que dos semanas después me llegaron de herencia 33 discos variados de un familiar muy lejano.
🎷 El tocadiscos
El equipo está en muy buenas condiciones (salvo por el polvillo 😅), y pude probar el funcionamiento de la radio, que se escucha fenomenal. Muy fuerte el volumen ya a la mitad.
Por un lado siempre me quise comprar discos (medio hipster no?). Pero tambien a la vez ya tenía un gran catálogo digital en mp3 bastante ordenado, y ciertamente no tenía el presupuesto para pasarme a esa otra tecnología de escucha, así que dejé ir esa oleada.
Ya me había desprendido de ese deseo melómano, y resulta que me llegan como caídos del cielo, este equipo tocadiscos y los discos para empezar la colección. No se que hacer.
El único problema que tiene es que hace muchos años que no se le hace ningún service. Y no reproduce discos.
Una sola vez tuve la oportunidad de escuchar un buen tocadiscos y quedé fascinado por las características sonoras que tiene el vinilo en sí. Es como otro color (?). Escuché tan poco que no sabría cómo describirlo o distinguirlo bien, pero ciertamente se siente diferente y es una experiencia de escucha distinta. Fue con un álbum que yo ya conocía de Pink Floyd, pero me sonó distinto, más violento.

Y por otro lado 33 obras variadísimas desde música clásica, disco, algunos clásicos de Vivaldi, entre otros grandes compositores, recopilados de tango, música del cine, Vangelis, y folklore.

La cuestión es simple pero hay que tomar una decisión:
Ahorro un poco y hago reparar el equipo quedándome con el tocadiscos y la colección de vinilos.
O vender (tocadiscos y discos) por separado en Mercado Libre y con el dinero comprar parlantes de calidad para la PC?

Hello, Argentinian community! How are you? What a great question about vinyl records, they've been a common sight lately.
Let me tell you, a cousin who went on a trip gave me her father's record player, which at least needs the needle repaired, according to what she said.
The craziest thing is that two weeks later I received 33 assorted records as an inheritance from a very distant relative.
🎷 The turntable
The record player is in very good condition (except for the dust 😅), and I was able to test the radio, which sounds phenomenal. The volume is already very loud at half-speed.
On the one hand, I've always wanted to buy records (kind of hipster, right?). But at the same time, I already had a large, fairly organized digital MP3 catalog, and I certainly didn't have the budget to upgrade to that other listening technology, so I let that wave go.
I'd already let go of that music-loving desire, and it turns out this turntable and the records to start the collection came to me like a godsend. I don't know what to do.
The only problem is that it hasn't been serviced in years. And it doesn't play records.
I only had the opportunity to listen to a good turntable once, and I was fascinated by the sonic characteristics of vinyl itself. It's like another color (?). I listened to so little that I wouldn't know how to describe it or distinguish it well, but it certainly feels different and is a different listening experience. It was with a Pink Floyd album I was already familiar with, but it sounded different to me, more violent.

And on the other hand, 33 extremely varied works, from classical music to disco, some classics by Vivaldi, among other great composers, compilations of tango, film music, Vangelis, and folklore.

The question is simple, but I have to make a decision:
Should I save a little and have the equipment repaired, keeping the record player and the vinyl collection.
Or sell (record player and records) separately online and use the money to buy quality speakers for the PC?
