Hello, community greetings. After the 1st day at Vørringfossen, we drove to our booked cottage at a campground near the lake. As I told the day was long and luckily we got very good weather, the shining Sun came up very early after refreshing we started our journey further At 6 o'clock we will be to our next destination Skjervsfossen. Before getting there we came across lots of beautiful nature.

The camping ground at morning 5 o'clock. To get another side we were driving under the mountain by a tunnel.

After crossing this tunnel we will explore the beautiful nature.

this is that tunnel made under the mountain.

After coming out from the tunnel sun was barely above the mountain sending energetic sunrays to all creatures, trees, the water, and the earth.

The mountains, the water everything was shining and glowing.

We had stopped for a while near where Bjoreio River passes through Øvreeidfjorden. Walked on the bridge and had some coffee in the coffee shop.
around there the locals had done very nice artwork putting crochet covers on the trees showing gratitude for nature.

From a long distance, the Hardanger Bridges showed up. this photo is from a running car. My husband stopped the car at the parking lot so I could see the bridge and take photos of the bridge. this photo is from a long distance to get on the bridge we need to drive more than 4 km.

This is the Hardanger suspension bridge entering at the south point. The bridge ends directly in the Vallavik tunnel.

The Hardanger Bridge is 1380 meters long, and one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. At Bu (south end of the bridge) there is a parking and picnic area, public toilet, and viewpoint to the bridge, accessible to disabled people. At Vallavik (the north end of the bridge) there is also a parking and a viewpoint to the bridge. But we kept driving and I took photos from the running car.

THE FIRST TIME I HAD SEEN A ROUNDABOUT UNDER TUNNEL I ADMIRE THOSE NORWEGIAN ROAD ENGINEERS how they designed this tunnel.

Inside the tunnel is a very special light arrangement because it is very long to drive. Here is some info I found on the tourist guide page.

The Vallavik Tunnel (Norwegian: Vallaviktunnelen) is a road tunnel in Vestland county, Norway. The tunnel begins on the north edge of the village of Eide in the municipality of Voss and runs to the southeast, ending at the small farm of Vallaviki in the municipality of Ulvik. The tunnel is part of Norwegian National Road 13 and Norwegian County Road 7. That tunnel was opened in 1985. The Norwegian architects are so clever how nicely they made the Underground Roundabout/rotary inside the tunnel.

After the Vallavik tunnel, we kept driving to the small village called Granvin to come to Skjervsfossen (Waterfall).

Finally, we have arrived at Skjervsfossen.
Parked our car and took a walk all around.

These photos were taken from the top of the waterfall, in the middle they put some viewpoints. so visitors can enjoy the view from different angles.

I wonder how Norwegians manage to live in steep places like this.

all alone high up in the mountains.

On the other side of the road, the water flows very vigorously.
towards to village. After enjoying the Invigorating shower from The waterfall and the fresh energetic misty air we started to drive to our next destination.
Thank you Very Much for reading my blog.
There is one more thing I will mention here, the special toilet is one of the more attractions on this point. I will make one separate post about it Later.
All photos are taken by me.
