Hello friends, fellow travelers of this community,
I got a bit lost with posting lately. These days, I've been hit by a nasty cold that kept me in bed for several days, so I had to post about the day I spent last Sunday, and I'm doing it today even though we're already nearing the next weekend.
Last weekend was very interesting, firstly because I went to visit some dear friends of mine in Trieste, and we treated ourselves to a little trip to Miramare Castle, a castle that I think most of you are familiar with, located a few kilometers from Trieste. It's a beautiful place. I had been there a few years ago, and I have to say that every time you go to this place, it's always something magical, always something beautiful.
We arrived a bit late, and practically, we toured its interior very quickly. By the way, there were so many tourists, and honestly, I didn't expect it since it's a bit off-season, but it seems that after the COVID period, tourism has picked up quite a bit.
By the way, one thing I didn't remember is that you can visit the entire park around the castle for free, and I think this is a good thing, to have all this green lung available to visit but also to relax in the midst of nature.
I think it's always a nice thing to organize a trip with people you haven't seen in a while. It's also a way to show these people how much you care about them. There's nothing better than dedicating some time to them.
Of course, before returning to Milan, these lovely girls wanted to make sure I ate well, and they wanted to take me to the best pizzeria in Trieste.
And I have to say, I had a delicious pizza that I really enjoyed. One thing I've been noticing for some time now is that no matter which pizzeria you go to in Italy, you always eat a very good pizza. I don't find much difference, probably because they manage to maintain, in my opinion, a consistently high standard of quality.
I hope you enjoyed the photos I shared. I will return to sharing photos of my biking experiences as soon as I recover a bit in terms of health. Goodbye everyone, see you soon!
