Hello friends, fellow travelers of this beautiful community!
Here I am, sharing the latest post about my trip to Lisbon, Portugal, a place that certainly left me with pleasant memories, and I've already planned somehow that I will definitely return.
I must say that during my trip, I found myself immersed in the enchanting maze of winding streets that surely intertwined with the history and culture of Lisbon; certainly, monuments like the Tower of Belém and the Monastery of Jerónimos left me breathless.
But how beautiful it is to walk through these narrow streets and its colorful houses; I must say it's truly a vibrant city full of life with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of the cities in southern Italy.
Naturally, what struck me the most, being quite a foodie, is the cuisine of this country, but especially the delicious breakfast that, in my opinion, is irresistible.
And then I must say that the people are very kind and welcoming, ready to tell stories and share their culture with a smile, which is always pleasant when embarking on such a journey, in my opinion.
I also found myself strolling along the banks of the Tagus River at sunset while the warm colors of the sky reflected on the water; I must say that in every corner of Lisbon, you can find a perfect harmony between the past and the present, between the more historic neighborhoods and the more modern ones.
Visiting this city, I understood why many Italian retirees have chosen a city like Lisbon as their life destination, not only for tax reasons, of course, but also because here, in my opinion, there is a better quality of life that is far from the life one can have in a city like Milan.
In conclusion, I feel compelled to recommend a vacation here in Lisbon; you will immediately feel the warmth that this city can transmit!
I hope you enjoyed this mix of photos. See you next time!
