I could never have imagined what a wonderful travel adventure awaited me this year. I am definitely thankful to my creator for such a wonderful travel experience.
I was talking about my trip to Diabari Lake in Uttara of Dhaka and my first kayaking adventure there. Along with traveling by Metrorail for the first time that day, kayaking was also experienced for the first time.
When I reached near the lake by metro train, I was amazed by the beauty of the lake. A stunning view of the lake was glimpsed from the train window. We were getting off at Uttara Center Metro Station. The lake is located very close to the station. It takes about 4–5 minutes to walk there.
There is a restaurant by the lake. The restaurant has several spots where you can sit and eat a delicious snack and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Those spots were already booked, so we sat on the common seats and ate pizza before embarking on the kayaking experience on the lake.
After eating, we left for a kayaking experience in the lake. Diabari Lake, located in Uttara, is a popular tourist destination for kayaking enthusiasts. So there is a lot of crowd here. We bought tickets for kayaking in a boat that could be driven by three people. But we had to wait for a long time to get the boat.
But after getting the boat, our wait was over and we were very happy. The double blade I got for the first time boating was trying to mimic the look of my friend sitting at the front of the boat. That day the waves in the lake were like a river, so it was not difficult to sail the boat.
The lake looked even more beautiful when we crossed a little distance in the lake by boat. I felt like I would be boating here for a long time. The first kayaking experience was great.
Finally, if you want to enjoy a kayaking adventure in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, you can visit Diabari Lake in Uttara. But to reach the lake you must travel by metro rail. Because the metro rail is very fast and your travel will be comfortable.
