It doesn't feel like the holiday has passed, I have to return to my house in the city of Bogor. It was difficult for me to leave my parents and siblings, but my husband had to go back to work and the children had to go back to school. Last Friday I decided to go home, I left at noon. Before Monday arrived I wanted to rest first, I was already thinking about the homework that was waiting for me because I had left it for two weeks.
We made our first stop in Batang City, to rest and eat. As far as I know, I have never rested in this place. This was my first visit.
I chose to park the car under a shady tree, also to cool the engine. We decided to use the toilet and go eat. Toilets in this rest area are free for visitors.
When I went to the toilet I wanted to take a photo in front of the mirror as usual, but the mirror looked very dirty. I tried wiping it with a tissue but the mirror was hard to clean. So I stopped that intention.
After we finished with the toilet business we gathered again and decided to look for delicious food.
In this rest area there are many eating places open with a variety of menus available. My stomach was growling and I immediately wanted to order.
After finding a place and sitting down I started looking at the menu and ordering. Here I wanted food that was soupy and fresh, so I decided to choose the Rawon Beef menu.
The price of the food here is a little expensive, but in my opinion the taste is quite good and won't disappoint. The taste of rawon is really delicious and refreshing, the spices are also abundant, but the meat content is very small heheeee….
We all chose different menus, yes...according to our individual tastes.
After finishing eating, the children invited me into the play area. Yeahhh…. This rest area is very good because it provides a large play area for children. The children were very happy because they could play for free.
This can cheer up my children a little, they are sad because they don't want to rush home. They still want to be content with their grandmother and grandfather, but I can't obey them because it's time to go back to school.
This rest area is very clean from scattered rubbish, the playground is also very clean and shady, there are lots of plants and shady trees here.
Apart from that, there is also a large mosque in the rest area, we can use it for worship. The mosque is very beautiful.
In many years, this is the first time I have rested at the Batang rest area. The place is clean, the children's play area is spacious and the food is delicious, making me want to visit again. I want to try other culinary delights, they all seem delicious.
After resting, we continued our journey home. Because it was the rainy season, the entire journey home was drenched in heavy rain. We drive the car slowly to ensure a safe journey. And grateful to be able to arrive home at exactly 22.00 WIB.
After arriving home I immediately lay down on the bed and turned on the AC. I'm getting ready to sleep, I feel very tired after a long journey.
I feel like I'm not satisfied with being with my family, let alone seeing my children who are sad when they're separated. I pray and hope that we will all be given health and abundant sustenance so that we can visit again someday.
