I rarely visit children's playgrounds in malls like this, yeah it's all because I am not yet a family and have children so visiting children's rides like this is not a must for me. However, I have little nieces and nephews that when I go out for a walk with them, I have to be ready to invite them to play here. Malls and rides are their favorite places, no wonder why they are so happy when they visit here.
Well this time I went to one of the oldest malls that is now still standing firmly in the city of Banda Aceh. This mall is known as Matahari Department Store, this mall has been established for quite a long time, precisely after the stunami hit Aceh, this mall was formerly known as Plaza Aceh which was originally established as a large hotel in Aceh. Over time this mall turned into the oldest mall that is quite large in the city. Play areas, restaurants, stores in the form of brand clothing and there are also other clothes, accessories, household appliances, to other needs, are very complete and the area is quite large so that many people like this place.

When I came to visit the mall it happened to be a holiday, and when we went it happened to be late afternoon so the visitors were quite crowded. The first time I came to the top floor, we planned to look for some clothes for my niece.

Because my nephews are still small, my older sister and I divide the task of looking after them, I look after my sister's 2.5 year old daughter. She is super active, all the time looking at clothes she always asks to be carried.
I looked at some clothes here, and I didn't buy them, I didn't like many of the models. As a result, my older sister only sorted out baby clothes which here are quite a lot of choices. While waiting for my sister to shop, my nephew and I took a short break. You can see they asked me to take a picture, as a memento.
The three of them actually wanted to play downstairs in the play area, they were very enthusiastic about going there. So waiting for their mother was very boring, my sister took a long time to get dressed especially when she was carrying a baby who was still 7 months old, it took time. We spent their boredom time by asking them to take turns to pose for photos.
I think they were tired enough to go around the whole store area because they followed their mom.
After rotating here my nephew saw cute character cars, these cars are rented out, in my opinion the price is quite expensive 10 minutes of rotating is IDR. 20.000. My nephew asked me to help him navigate this area, because it is very unlikely that children can drive themselves.
After we were satisfied playing upstairs we went downstairs, to the children's play area known as amazone. The playground is indeed very complete. From the usual to the ones that I can't play at all. So the question from my nephew with the tools in front of me was enough to make me confused.
When we got there we bought some points and cards for my nephews to play with. They chose what they liked as much as they liked, I just controlled them and couldn't let my guard down with the littlest one. But there were some games that they asked for help from me, probably because of the difficulty. Like the merry-go-round horse ride, I had to keep a close eye on them because it was quite high.
It was a lot of fun and they were very happy, as seen from their beaming faces. Even running around with excitement and smiling occasionally, we could already feel how happy they were today.
After they were satisfied playing on the rotary horse, they saw the ball bathing area, of course they had to play there, haha. But to get into the area we have to pay the ticket again. Once inside they already asked to come out and as usual there were so many games that they got bored very quickly.
After playing, we took a short break, and my older sister's husband was waiting for us to grab a drink at the restaurant area.
I ordered 1 boba brown sugar drink, the price is standard as what I usually buy here. My nephews were busy ordering dimsum, they enjoyed it enthusiastically probably because they were tired after playing.
After enjoying our drinks, we headed home because it was already quite hot outside. The plan is that tomorrow we will return to the city so today we are satisfied to be in this city and play. It's great to be able to visit this mall, the atmosphere is still very good, even though it's crowded but not crowded, I really like all the people here who are very orderly. I will come back here next time!
