OMG! what a magnificent and monumental exploration! Visiting the abandoned guerrilla camp in Lugait must have been rather other-worldly, knowing that it is attached to World War II. It is quite mystifying that nature had taken over the once open field and transformed it into silent and shady forests graced by towering Molave, Acacia, and Mahogany trees. I am amazed to realize that the very strategic lookout for soldiers has morphed into a serene almost hidden gem. It is good to hear that they are conserving the area so future generations can appreciate both its historical importance and natural beauty. Also, the place seems a very nice spot for camping, adventure, history, and relaxation rolled into one! Yaaayyy! Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience-I am adding this to my must-see list!
