Well Hello There Fellow Adventure Seekers!
To The Journeys Of Old And New!
Now I have some stuff to share here but it might not be able to be pinned to one location alone so I'll put the location smack in the center of the roads we traveled, please don't try to go to that pin location! Laughs nah just joking! I'm sure most of you wont anyways! But I would I would legitly like to be left out in the middle of nowhere, then I can build myself a nice cabin made of wood and have a blast living a peacefull life!
Starting To Admire It!
Can you believe only after three years of driving up and down to the coast I realized that the only beauty isn't down there by the seaside! No there is beauty all around us!
Except for where I am from, people here don't give two cents about how clean their environment is and what not!
I suppose people don't admire beauty anymore!
I mean this is nothing but flatlands with mountains and roads! But gawd is it beautifull!
Same Mountain Just Closer!
Well yeah it is the same mountain as the one in the picture above this one, now I'm not exactly sure how everyone would feel about the photos taken from within the car but I just couldn't exactly stop at every thing I wanted to photograph!
BUT! I do have to add that the photos taken from within the car does add a little vibe to it right? I mean it makes it so much more road trippy than just a picture of a mountain!
At the very least that is how I feel about it and it's funny because I never used to like having anything of the car in a picture! Now I am growing fond of it!
Once A Plateau!
Given I know not all the photos come out very clearly since we are on the move!
Now I can really take in the awe of these mountains! I know they aren't as big and can't be compared to most of the real big mountains in the world but heck it's a real amazing feeling to drive past these huge boulders of rock carving up into the sky while the rest of the earth is flatter than a piece of paper!
As I said this likely isn't for everyone but it might be something for those geeks that study the ground! (No hate meant! The Betty is one of them!)

The BeerVlei Dam!
Now I'm not exactly sure if I did share this one in a previous post but what does it matter right?
This isn't actually a dam dam! But more one built to control floods in the area, the area around as a valley and it's prone to flooding. But in other words it is a dam!
This year it was actually really full, a lot fuller than the previous years that I passed through.
Stopping there is a real fun thing! It's just as you exit the passes. The feeling of stopping there is sublime, it's peacefull and relaxing!
The wind blowing through your hair! Ahh it's amazing!
A Killer Road!
Well not exactly but it can sure as hell tire you out! The nice thing about this is that it's a long straight and you can drive it faster! But ssssshhhh we didn't drive it over the speed limit! Nah we didn't!
Anyways that's about the only upside, the downsides is that it is long and it is narrow and it's not a lot of fun to drive on, except for speeding!

Finding The Passes!
This Was A Breath Taker!
Now this was really something to behold! Not sure why this stood out so much more than all the other! Maybe the valley that joins up with the mountains?
Yeah I'm not even sure I know where this is actually, but we were about 75% done with the journey so we were surely getting closer to our destination!
One can really see we're entering the wineyards now and it's absolutely gorgeous!
I sure as hell won't mind to retire here one bit!
Roads Less Traveled!
I never really noticed it while driving but taking a look at the photos I can't even find one car! Now that I think about it the roads we're awfully quiet to begin with!
Then again we left really really early! So we did manage to make some good time on the roads and the roads are less traveled in the early morning hours! Given I know this is mid day by now laughs! But to add on top of that it's not exactly holiday season now so it's fairly understandable that the roads are quiet!
Now the quietness of the roads does actually add to the beauty of it right?
Imagine there were cars in every single photo I took!
Is it just me or does the telephone wires actually add some beauty to all of it? Looks like some antique stuff!
Funny that we've not figured out something more worth it by now right xD Frikkin lines!
The Marker We've Been Waiting For!
Oh when I see this I turn upside down and inside out!
It's like those butterflies in your tummy when you fall in love? Something like that in a way!
This is where you can start seeing the ocean! Oh the lovely and beautifull ocean! Whack I tell you whack!
We've still had something like 80 kilometers to travel and this might be the hardest part! I don't want to do nothing but get out there and go to the beach! Heck I don't even think we went to the beach that day!!
Thinking about it now I feel kind of sad xD!
Just take a look at those mountains!
I have to add that some photos turned out a little blurry... Some I used but most I didn't! This isn't even a fraction of the photos I did use!
Anyways I hope everyone can find some beauty in the photos I took as I really tried to get all those goody goods in the photos!
