One Tuesday morning, another day of work, but I took some time to go to this natural park, where I decided to walk and take some pictures and then continue my work routine. The interesting thing about this park, which is very close to where I live, is that it is the same route I take to work, which I pass by every day but I had not been there for months. That is what is special about Cachamay Park in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar State - Venezuela, which is located throughout the city, as well as other parks in the city that maintain that green environment and a great landscape with a view of the waterfalls and rivers in the area.
These green routes have connections with other parks such as Leofling Park and La Llovizna Park, but they are long walks that take many hours into the jungle and forest, where you can see a great variety of natural species such as insects, flowers and even wild animals, but always be alert if a jaguar comes out, although lately we have not heard of these animals being enlisted, but it is a green walk with a humid climate.
The proximity of this park to the city makes it perfect for many people in the area to visit it from early in the morning, where they usually go for walks, exercise and there are even martial arts schools that go to the park to practice, and how could it not be possible to have that contact with nature. While I was in the park, despite the humidity, I felt relaxed walking among nature, appreciating it and taking some photographs, even wanting to take a bath in the river, but because of the rainy season the waters are very high and there are many currents so it can be a little dangerous.
From my house to the park it takes me 10 minutes by bus to get there, then from the park stop to my work it takes me 15 minutes, so in total it is 25 minutes of transportation with a stopover at the park, that is the joy of being able to live in this city that has beautiful natural spaces, which serve as a relaxation point for anyone who goes. On the other hand, this park is completely free, and is open to the public from 6 am to 4 pm.
Maybe I will create a routine of going at least once a week before going to work as a therapy routine to relax before starting the work day, as well as to go with the intention of taking more photographs of the place, because each time I can find many interesting things and shapes that nature gives us.
All photographs are my own.
