What a lovely post...I appreciate how well your richly coloured lush photographs went with topic of Expediency. It is true in the interest of time, corners are cut much to our chagrin later.

Yes....I would far rather begin a new painting than to revisit one unfinished....loss of the train of thought, loss of the idea behind it and what not.

I am sorry to hear the Bleuberry bushes idea did not work for you...we planted Blackcurrent bushes and have found them to be quite carefree. Hope you find something that works for you.
