RE: How Tom Bilyeu and a Podcast Sort of Saved My Sanity

Added them in the meantime ;-)
They all look very interesting, and I'll be glad to listen to them in the next weeks! As for The PBD podcast, is it mostly US news/politics? Or does it go broader than that?
Not sure if you're familiar with Jim Kwik? His podcast is also pretty good!

Sort:

Yeah.. PBD is mostly US politics. He used to be all about business and money, but gradually shifted to politics in the last few years.

I'm familiar with Jim, the boy with the broken brain... It was from listening to him that I learnt to increase the speed of podcasts.. I do 2x, 3x speeds on most podcasts.

Jim reminds me of David Eagleman... A neuroscientist who discusses the brain. I first heard about the concept of transferring one sense to another through him... Eh using tactile response to trick the brain into seeing the environment...

Same here, Jim taught me about increasing the speed of podcasts and audiobooks as well, but I mostly stick to 1.5x :-D
That transferring one sense to another does sound like something amazing btw!!!

Yeah...

I tried the speed reading, it wasn't working for me...

Jim said to stop subvocalization, no matter how hard I try, I still subvocalize...

The speedreading itself (without subvocalizing) worked pretty ok for me, but I have too little opportunity to really put me to it and read. And when I do have the time to do sit down and read, I prefer to read to relax, not to read as much as possible in the shortest time :-)

@drceeyou! @borniet likes your content! so I just sent 1 BBH to your account on behalf of @borniet. (16/20)
