Hello all #LEO Lovers and #Hive Friends
I have been on Hive for from last five year but if talk about the Leo, I am mostly active after the Zealy campaign. When the Leo expended his arms for all other communities, it become the platform for all type of content. To be honest I am not a finance person so before the Leo opening to all content I was occasionally post on LeoFinance community. The introduction of threads which provide the experience of micro blogging on blockchain was one of the awesome development. The everything content and Evergreen content made the platform more attractive. Who do not want to earn after 7 days earning window, it happened on InLeo as they has already started the payment as a part of adds revenue sharing. More the traffic to your content, the more you will get the same from pool.
I must say the journey was very nice and rewarding for me and I have learned some key aspects of web3 social media platform, which are engagement and consistency. I am trying to show up every day and try to engage more.
The Leo team is working very hard for the expansion of platform, for onboarding the new users and for adding more features to enhance the user experience. I must say the lite signup option for new users is one very convenient way to give them the entry gate for world of web3 social media experience.
For growth of any online platform, the users base plays a very important role. The bigger the use base is the bigger the platform is and this also creates the trust amount old and new users. When anyone try to start their journey on any online platform like Hive or Inleo the very first thing is he has to create an account. If the process of creating a account is simple the user always appreciate it. The lite signup option provided by InLeo which setup an account for new users just by using the Twitter or X account. This is one big milestone which the Leo team has already passed. The next thing is how convenient is to use the platform. The easy of use play the important role after the users signup and create the account. Imagine a scenario where the user is puzzled with the options or the interface of the platform is not user friendly and users are struggling to use. It will frustrate the new users.
I must say the website experience on desktop or laptop is very easy and very convenient. The Micro blogging is also fun when using the platform on laptop or desktop but the experience is not that good when we using the InLeo on mobile browser. Honestly the mobile web version is not good for Micro blogging. I always find myself struggling when try to post any thread or try try engage on other threads. Some time I try to school down and the moment I touched the mobile screen it opened the thread just below my thumb. It is always frustrating for me. The other problem is uses can not reply the thread without opening it. This is very useful option in the users can reply the thread jut form the main feed page it self.
A mobile application may be the solution for all above problem. In today technology Word, every person own a smart phone. They all can be the prospect. The mobile app will increase the reach of InLeo to more people and this will ultimately helped in increasing the userbase. Many time I talked with my known peoples about the Hive and InLeo and after few minutes talk most of them asked if their is any mobile application to use. The most convenient way to use the InLeo on the mobile is mobile application only. It has many advantages :
First this will increase the reach. The mobile is a part of everyone's life so all the peoples will become the future prospects. I know that all will not join but still if it helps in increasing by 10-20% of existing users then also its a big achievement.
Second is the anywhere anytime availability. We all take our phone with us most of the time. When we are traveling we do not carry our desktop or open our laptop to surf the web. We always use our phones to perform those tasks. Imagine the convenient user will get with mobile app, they will be able to use it anytime anywhere, whenever they get time. May be during the travel or may be during the writing time.
Third is notification. This can option can play a very important role in engagement. The moment someone comment on your post or reply on your comment you will get the notification. Uses and reply immediately and this can happen in real time. This will also create a healthy environment. I do not want to miss the post form my favorites author, the notification for post published by favorites authors will take care of some.
As per my knowledge the InLeo team has plans for the mobile app but I not on priority. But in my opinion a mobile app can create a major change in terms of reach and user base increment. This will not only solve the problem uses facing during using the mobile web version but also helps in other InLeo goals. Hope we will get the solution soon.
