Most certainly. Let the pain signal go through. "This too shall pass" It can pass right through the brain and mind. If it takes our attention it is "pain". If it is (pain) it may be acknowledged and be less (of a) pain.
Of course the pain, or rather the cause of the pain should be given attention. And raised in frequency.. Cancer may be a signal resulting from lower frequency in the body. If such is true then cancer is a signal of an underlying problem. This gets into a different approach than much of "modern health" methologies.
