Greetings to all fellow community members.
On Saturday night, April 19th, I went out with my wife to one of her favorite places to eat pizza, this place is called “Jada's Pizza”. We usually go to this place because it is very close to the house and it is a quiet place a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle, ideal to enjoy a good pizza.
Although it is a relatively small place its environment makes it elegant and cozy, good service and there is also a big enough TV where most of the time is on a movie channel, so while we wait we enjoy the movie or series, although the truth is the attention is quite fast, I think that of all the times we have gone without any lie, we did not take more than five minutes waiting, so this is a point in favor of the customer and good review for the pizzeria.
But this night did not end at the pizzeria, the night was just beginning. It turns out that there was a concert of several groups on the occasion of the celebration of anniversaries of the Fiesta del Sol here in the city of Barranca. After lunch we went to the concert which as an opening had choreographic presentations of young people who are entering the artistic world in this sense. Then was the election of the queen who participated in a final round representing Barranca, which by the way one of the winners was from the community where I live.
Before I continue, I apologize because the quality of my photos are not the best and my phone is not of a high range for the photographs.
Now I continue. After seeing the choreographies and the election of the queen, the presentations of the official groups and special guests to this celebration began, among them vallenatos, merengue, sala, vallenato verse competition, carranga among others.
Of all the presentations, until the time I went home which was about midnight, what I liked the most besides being in the VIP area, was the merengue group “Terranova” the truth all a show and was one of the groups that began to give life and encouragement to the concert, this group in addition to having their own musical productions, also perform cover in merengue version, even with songs like “Luto en mi alma” of the group Terricolas with a release date in 1975 and “Si no te hubiera ido” with a release date in 1999 nothing like that, They also cover in merengue version, even with songs like “Luto en mi alma” by the group Terricolas, released in 1975 and “Si no te hubieras ido” released in 1999 by none other than the great Marco Antonio Solis, and I must admit that in merengue version these two songs are heard wonderfully.
It was an excellent Saturday night in the company of my wife, we would have liked to stay until the end but we saw there was a chance of rain and being an open place we were not willing to get wet, after we left about an hour it started to rain but even so I heard that the event continued and people continued to enjoy until the end.
Thank you very much for your attention, I will see you in a future post.
