Weekend experience because I prefer relaxing weekends and what household chores I leave for the weekend. ❤️❤️

Good evening and have a good weekend, blog friends! This is my first time participating in this experience and in this community. I hope I don't make any mistakes and that you enjoy this post. I've seen this week's topics and I have to say they were all inspiring. I have a lot to say about each topic, but I've chosen two for now. If it's not forbidden, maybe I'll explore the others. Let's talk about weekends of rest and relaxation. As you can see from my photos, this is one of those quiet weekends for me.

When I was young, going out on weekends was sacred. I never skipped a Saturday or Friday night at the club, and on Sundays I was usually recovering from a terrible hangover, rejoicing or regretting the night before while eating heavy Italian dishes at my grandparents' house. Sunday lunch with the family has always been sacred; we only skipped it when we were sick. In short, I had very active weekends, lost twenty pounds, had a fast metabolism, and was highly resistant to alcohol and dancing. Then I turned thirty and my slow decline began. Before, after a wild weekend, I'd go to work; now, if I go on a wild weekend, I'm guaranteed to end up in the hospital. Little by little, perhaps due to work or age, I've begun to favor quiet weekends, preferably at home with a nice dinner, some treats, and a good movie.

Often, after intense work weeks, my only thought was to go home, put on my pajamas, and spend a quiet weekend watching TV series. Now I prefer quiet weekends, even if I do take the occasional trip, I prefer quieter, less crowded places, preferably in the countryside. Maybe spend the evenings with friends having a drink and then going home. It's rare for me to go out until after eleven o'clock at night. I like being in my pajamas at eleven o'clock. Tonight, too, as you can see from the photos, I'm having a quiet weekend: me, my cats, a dinner of a mascarpone and jam sandwich, a Disney TV series (I'm watching a couple of thrillers), and the stove on.

So, yes, now I'm truly part of the "quiet weekends" team. In the past, I often worked weekends, but referring to the other topic I chose, I often use weekends for housework. I cook every day, and now that my father and grandfather are sadly dead and my aunt had a fight with the family, Sundays are no longer with the family, but I still make sure to make lunch for myself, my husband, and my stepdaughter on Sundays.

I also leave myself the slightly more boring housework on weekends: vacuuming the stove and pipes, cleaning the pantries and checking the fridge for expired or soon-to-expire food, changing the sheets and bed linens, and cleaning the apartment building's stairs. Obviously, if I'm at home, on a trip, or out, I put off cleaning until I have more time. Anyway, here's my post. I hope I haven't bored you, and I'm happy to have found this initiative, even if it's a little late! See you soon, blog friends!

I would love a sandwich like that right now to treat myself this weekend, which I am also spending relaxing at home.

Lol it's not so dietetic or healthy but you have reason its a little treat the problem with me it's that I love tooo much treats.

It's like from being an extrovert, you become an introvert all of a sudden. Reading your post, it's like a very relaxing weekend you have there. Cozy because of pajamas, like nothing to worry about because you have a sandwich and a movie... Aww, that's such a nice evening. 🌷

Yes that what's happened maybe it's also because I didn't mention it in the post but around 30 I start to suffer from depression too that surely make me less extrovert.

Ohh... That's sad to hear then. Good thing you survived and recovered from it. Hope you'll be in good health til today. 🌸

What a cool fireplace you have! I live in a private house and I always wanted to have one, it's so cosy.

I totally love it and where I will move next year I have a better and bigger one we have it with the contract of the house so we will see this one
